INSURANCE FOR COACHES
As part of your coaching membership with England Squash you receive the benefit of Combined Liability, Professional Indemnity and Group Personal Accident insurance.
This web page provides an overview of how these policies benefit members and can offer guidance in respect of the insurance policies provided.

Who’s covered?
The following England Squash membership category has insurance cover included:-
Coaches Club - Membership includes Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Personal Accident
Permitted Activities
All authorised and recognised activities by England Squash.
When does the cover operate?
For cover to be operative you must hold the appropriate qualification to coach the activity. If you are not qualified, insurance cover will not be operative.
You receive cover operating as an individual coach working within the remit of a qualification recognised by England Squash.
Explore the insurance provided...
Provides cover that protects the coach if they cause injury to a third party or damage to third party property. If the coach is held legally liable compensation will be paid by insurers to the injured party. The coach will only pay the policy excess of £250 if the third party injury and/or third party property damage claim is successfully made against you. Includes “Member to Member” cover.
- Public Liability - cover for your legal liability of up to £10,000,000 any one occurrence. This insurance provides protection against legal liability for bodily injury to third parties and damage to third party property arising out the insured activities.
- Professional Indemnity- £10,000,000 cover any one occurrence and in the aggregate. Cover for negligent acts, errors or omissions in respect of a professional opinion, including injury following tuition, advice, coaching or instruction, against claims made during the period of insurance.

Provides compensation for insured benefits caused by accidents.
Cover will extend to include benefits such as accidental death, temp total disablement, permanent total disablement (e.g. loss of sight), broken bones, convalescence, dental expenses and medical expenses (physio, x-ray and MRI scan).
Operative time: Whilst taking part in coaching activities organised and/or recognised by England Squash.
